| Abstract | |
Dentistry in developing nations has made remarkable strides during the recent days. However, the Herculean task of creating oral health awareness and tackling with various oral diseases has, ironically, pointed out disparity between dentistry in developing countries and developed ones. Moreover. " new killer diseases and their dental implication" iiself has posed a theat of emerging and reemerging infections lethal to mankind, which is of course, a matter of worlswide concern. Needless to say, exchange of informations amongst dental professionals at the international level and cooperation of national as well as international associations will discern and compare future developments worldwide. Dear colleagues, Joint FDI- NDA conference- 2003, is just the platform for achieving our common goal. Finally, it gives us great pleasure to present the fifth volume of this journal. The hard effort put by our editorial committee, we hope, will be viewed by all the readers, in terms of contributing constructive suggestions for the mistakes present in this journal. Never say no, Never say always- the trends are changing As Henry Ford said – "coming together is the beginning, keeping together is the progress and working together is the success" Our theme in this year, "Dentistry in Developing Nations"….. We would like to take it as a great achievement if we could….. |
