| Abstract | |
Immature necrotic permanent tooth is challenging to manage endodontically, because of open apex and thin dentinal wall. It becomes more challenging when there is apical pathosis associated with necrotic tooth. Regenerative endodontics is one of the treatment options in such cases. Bioactive platelet-rich fibrin serves as a scaffold by providing a concentrated reservoir of growth factors that aids in regeneration. This case report describes a regenerative procedure using platelet-rich fibrin in necrotic tooth. |
