| Abstract | |
Dental caries prevalence is very high (69.6%) with mean DMFT 1.89 among the school children in Kirtipur Municipality. Boys have more prevalence of dental caries than that of the girls (71.9% and 66.4% respectively). Majority of the students have fairly satisfactory knowledge about dental care in terms of caries prevention but show very poor care practice. |
